Hourly Direct Job Description: NDT Technician - The Level I
Technicians will be performing calibrations, Non-destructive Tests,
and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations
according to written instructions and record results. - Shift Hours
of work: 2nd shift (3:30PM to 11:30PM). Will accept applications
for 1st shift, but ideal candidate will be for night shift. Duties
- · Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment. - ·
Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
using NDT methods of inspection. - · Establish techniques for
proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict
adherence to safety regulations. - · Apply testing criteria in
accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate
results. - · Organize and report test results. - · May instruct and
supervise others. - · Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
by management. Minimum QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience - · NDT
Level II Qualification in PT is required. - · NDT Level I or II
Qualification in MT is a strong plus. - · NDT Level I Qualification
UT, ET Qualification is a plus. - · High School Diploma, or
equivalent. - · FAA Airframe Certification a plus. - · Must be able
to read, write and speak English proficiently. - · Demonstrated
ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret
results of inspections. Specific Skills - · Strong work ethic. - ·
Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and looks for ways to improve
efficiency. - · Dependable. - · Exceptional safety and quality
