Contract OpportunityBusiness AnalystTyler, TX* Benefits: Health, Vision, 401K* Estimated Start Date: ASAP* Duration: 6 months* Software: Prior experience using business intelligence tools such as Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI etc.* Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience* Experience: At least 2 years of related experienceThe Business Analyst prepares operations analyses, including analysis of competitors, operational effectiveness and capacity utilization, and makes recommendations for improvement. Develops process analyses, designs and simulations. Provides statistical information to ensure the most effective utilization of personnel, equipment and materials for electric and/or gas operations. Performs analyses of the operation's cost elements to ensure effective and efficient operations. May track, maintain and provide current information on the operation's business scorecard.* Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates on performance with regards to operations KPIs to field and leadership teams.* Active involvement in the annual budgeting process* Support Business Intelligence team with forecasting, updating BI reports and data modeling as needed* Ability to create and present data-based business recommendations to senior management* Collaborate as appropriate with business partners across the company to support larger projects and/or ad hoc requestsEOE M/F/Disabled/Veteran Tyler, TXBusiness AnalystSM24135
