Job Description:
A company is looking for a zTPF Operating System Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Provide beginning to intermediate level zTPF operating system
software development, testing, maintenance, and support
Develop, enhance, test, implement, and maintain the zTPF mainframe
platform and operating system to meet business requirements
Provide operational and production support for zTPF systems,
including on-call availability and technical support interface
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
5 years of zTPF related experience
Application level knowledge of zTPF operating system, file system,
database, and programming languages such as Assembler and C/C++
Ability to navigate adjacent systems like z/VM, z/Linux, and
z/OS
Working knowledge of zTPF development and testing tools
Knowledge of ITIL principles and processes
