Description MillwrightYour Job Our Particleboard facility in Diboll, Texas is looking for a Millwright to join their team. This position is an experienced skilled crafts role that creates value by performing a variety of maintenance duties by ensuring maximum facility uptime to meet production goals. Our TeamGeorgia-Pacific's Diboll particle board facility uses state of the art innovation and technology to manufacture particle board for the construction and cabinetry industry. Our particle board is used primarily in custom cabinetry and in self-assembled cabinetry sold by international furniture stores. What You Will DoMaintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe boots, etc.) Troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptimePerforming periodic maintenance routines to identify and correct mechanical defects to avoid failureMaintaining operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levelsWorking with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needsHelping meet or exceed production, waste, and quality goals by successfully maintaining production equipmentOperating hoisting and lifting devices, set-up, and repair of machinery, adjust machinery and repair and/or replace defective partsLifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a dayWorking any shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays as neededWorking around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substancesWorking in a hot, humid, cold, noisy industrial environment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)High school diploma or GEDMinimum of three (3) years' experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipmentExperience with bearings, chains, sprockets, and couplingsExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, reading hydraulic schematics, fabrication, and precision measurementsExperience troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipmentExperience with metal fabrication (cutting, welding, machining, etc.) What Will Put You AheadMechanical or technical Certificate/DegreeExperience with troubleshooting and repairing, electrical control systems, instrumentation, electronic circuits, (motor controls, relay logic, AC/DC drives and low voltage switchgear)Experience programing and troubleshooting PLC'sExperience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
