Together, we will make sure the job is Well Done!Step 1 - To apply: - follow this link: - - - -Step 2 - Must complete: Step 3 - Be sure to share with us how you will help us take this role to the next level! -General Summary of the PositionThe Head of People (HR) for Clements Fluids ensures that the People operations, programs, and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with the overall business objectives and vision. Duties include managing the onsite Tyler-based HR functions including employee relations matters such as complaints/disputes, employee development programs, company culture, employee recognition programs, implementation of new HR strategies and change management, maintaining procedures for employee records, budget management as applicable, designing accountability mechanisms, company policy development and implementation and oversight of the overall employment needs of the company to include recruitment, hiring and onboarding. - -The Head of People will report directly to the CEO and will work with other leaders within the company as part of the leadership team. - The ideal candidate for this role will have experience effectively toggling between daily tactical duties and strategic execution of initiatives. This individual must possess a high work ethic, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, be a positive change agent and help lead the organization through HR development initiatives. The successful candidate must have expertise of TX/LA/OK labor regulations and HR practices, team building, learning/development, compliance, and HR systems/reporting. This exceptional Head of People should improve HR processes, implement strategies that support business and revenue growth, enhance safety, champion communication between all levels of the organization and promote the organization's mission, vision and culture. -What you'll do:

Develop and implement programs in all human resource areas including but not limited to organizational development, payroll and compensation administration, safety, employee development, succession planning, employee/internal communications, employee recognition programming, recruitment/hiring/onboarding, employee relations, and investigations, coaching and disciplinary action.Identify and implement the People projects that are aligned with strategic business and revenue initiatives including professional development, employee engagement, and performance management.Manage and mentor the People team, which today includes one Recruitment Coordinator but may grow in the future.Assist CEO with compensation planning, analysis, auditing, and compensation policy and program, including bonus program recommendations.Work with local and field/regional teams to monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.Understand and support the daily management of various HR systems including JazzHR and Zenefits.Address employee relations matters expeditiously, invoking coaching and/or disciplinary action programs when required. - Handle all matters that rise to the level of investigation.Serve as the subject matter expert for all reporting and data analytics using HR metrics.Coach, mentor, and train all levels of the organization as requested or required in the areas of leadership development, policy updates and changes, coaching training, and other training.Anticipate and resolve litigation risk.Design and direct training programs as applicable.What we're looking for:
Experience with HRIS - Zenefits and Jazz HR strongly desired - must be proficient with technology, learn systems quickly, have an extreme eye for detail, and understand various HR data tracking systemsAdvanced experience with Microsoft - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDriveExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task, i.e. manage multiple priorities with similar deadlinesAbility to work with a sense of urgency and efficiencyMust be detail-oriented and extremely organizedMust be willing to accept changes of direction in work and priorities with a positive attitudeMust be a proactive thinker and constantly think ahead to better serve our customers, both internal and externalExcellent knowledge of TX/LA/OK employment legislation and regulations.Travel up to 15-20% may be required depending on the needs of the business and to understand/learn the business to be successful in the role. - Additionally, depending on employee relations matters in the field, travel to plant locations may occur from time to time.Education, Training, and Experience
10 years experience in Human Resources or related fields.5 years of previous HR leadership experience in a position of influence.Work Context
