DescriptionWAYNE SANDERSON FARMSPosition DescriptionLoader Operator General Information: Organizational Position: Loader Operator Accountable To: Catching and Live Haul Foreman Division: Tyler Production Date Approved: March 1997 Major Responsibilities: Obtains scheduled instructions for loading time, farm location, and machine transfer at a prescribed time daily from the Catching and Live Haul Foreman. Assists in transfer, minor repairs, and servicing of machines and related equipment before or during loading. Aids in spotting live haul trucks at farm for loading. Operates mechanical loader in a proper manner to avoid damage to it or to grower's housing and equipment. Notifies designated persons of mechanical defects or needed repairs to loading equipment and vehicles. Notifies catching foreman of any damage done by machine while catching birds. Performs other duties as directed.III. Position Requirements: In addition to meeting the basic qualifications for new employees, the employee must also meet the following qualifications:-Must be able to lift 100 lbs..-Must be able to work in awkward positions for prolonged periods of time.-Must be adaptive to night work, harsh weather conditions, dusty areas, and long irregular hours.III. Position Requirements (contd):-Must have a current, valid commercial driver's license.-Must demonstrate some knowledge of mechanical equipment by showing ability to operate mechanical poultry loader on a designated operational course.
