The - University of Texas Tyler School of Medicine - in Tyler, TX (92 mi from Dallas) is searching for an accomplished leader to serve as the - Chief of Hematology/Oncology.About the Position: -

• 70% Academic and 30% Clinical (outpatient only)
• Lead a team of 11 hematology/oncologists and three radiation oncologists
• The Chief will report directly to the Chair of Internal Medicine and be responsible for developing a nationally-recognized division of hematology/oncology, integrating the diverse clinical and research activities, and leading the development of a new hematology/oncology fellowship training program.

• Applicants should be - at the Professor or Associate Professor Rank
• ABIM certification in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience with the expansion of clinical and research programs and faculty recruitment.
• Experience with community outreach and engagement
