Remote Certified Coding Specialist

Job Description:

An operator of urgent care providers has a current position open for a Remote Certified Coding Specialist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:
Reviewing provider documentation, including chart notes
Accurately capturing all CPT, HCPCS and ICD10 codes
Maintaining a 95% audit score
Qualifications Include:

Minimum of 2 years pro-fee EM/office procedure coding
Medical Coding Certificate - CPC, CCS or CCA
Knowledge of revenue cycle including the working of payer denials
ICD10 Proficiency
Knowledge of Federal laws and regulations affecting coding requirements
Working knowledge of payor guidelines, ie-modifier usage, and timely filing
