Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced
Quality Inspector to support inspection, documentation, and quality
assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role
ensures threaded products meet all specifications and quality
standards while supporting production and continuous improvement
efforts. Key Responsibilities: Retrieve and review job-related
documentation, including routings, drawings, tool lists, work
instructions, and inspection sheets. Perform first-piece
inspections in accordance with process instructions. Inspect
threaded ends to verify compliance with applicable specifications.
Utilize standard thread gauges and inspection practices
proficiently. Inspect and document parts per in-process inspection
requirements. Set up, verify calibration, and maintain measuring
equipment. Record completion of required processes within the QMS
system. Support production by assisting CNC operators with machine
offset adjustments using thread inspection data. Assist other
inspectors with validation of threading elements and defect
analysis. Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all
safety and housekeeping procedures. Participate in continuous
improvement initiatives and demonstrate basic manufacturing line
knowledge. Provide end-of-shift activity reports. Assist
maintenance personnel as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of
experience in industrial manufacturing or operations. At least 1
year of experience inspecting Semi-Premium and/or API threads.
Seamless pipe mill or seamless tube threading shop experience
preferred. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability
to read and interpret technical drawings. Proficiency with
precision measuring tools and gauges, including optical comparators
and overlays. Ability to work independently while meeting
production and quality standards.
