Job Description:
Transco Lines, Inc., a leader in transportation and logistics
services across the USA, is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Truck
Driver to join our team. This position is crucial for maintaining
our commitment to safety, reliability, and timely service. As a
part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the
efficient transportation and delivery of goods, helping us continue
to provide personalized logistics solutions and uphold our
reputation for excellence in truckload services. Safely operate a
tractor-trailer truck over assigned routes to deliver goods to
customers on time, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and
local regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety
issues, reporting maintenance needs and concerns to the logistics
team. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving,
adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) hours of service
regulations. Plan routes using GPS systems to ensure timely
deliveries, considering factors like traffic and weather
conditions. Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring the secure
and undamaged condition of freight. Maintain positive interactions
with logistics staff and customers to foster continued business and
address any concerns. Handle paperwork related to each shipment,
ensuring accuracy in delivery documentation. Proven ability to
operate a tractor-trailer truck safely and efficiently. Strong
navigation and route management abilities. Excellent time
management skills to meet delivery schedules. Ability to maintain
clear and accurate driving records. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Must
possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Completion of a certified truck driving school program is
preferred. Clean driving record. DOT medical card.
