Our drivers are pivotal in maintaining our reputation across various transportation management sectors by ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods. Safely operate a flatbed truck and secure all cargo for transport using straps, chains, or covers according to company policies and DOT regulations. Plan routes efficiently and manage schedules to meet delivery timelines. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories such as tires, lights, and brakes; report any issues. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics staff to convey pick-up and delivery statuses, and resolve any operational issues. Adhere to company safety policies and regulations, as well as state and federal driving laws to ensure a safe work environment for all. Proven ability to maneuver and control the flatbed truck and the skill to handle and secure oversized loads. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to handle minor repairs.
