Job Description:
As a Senior Network Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a critical role
in shaping and supporting Epsilon’s global network infrastructure
by designing, implementing, and solving complex network solutions
across multiple datacenters and cloud environments. You’ll be part
of a passionate team of network professionals, using your deep
expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, and network
security to implement scalable, automated solutions that meet
demanding 24x7x365 operational requirements. Your work will
directly influence the performance and reliability of our internal
and edge Internet/peering infrastructure, and you’ll collaborate
closely with vendors and internal partners to ensure procedures and
standards are upheld. If youre a meticulous engineer eager to grow
and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, service-based enterprise
environment, we’d love to connect with you. What You’ll Achieve •
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of network
services, tools, and infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and
multi-cloud environments. • Engineer scalable, automated cloud
networking solutions using AWS VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct
Connect, PrivateLink, Route53 Resolver, GCP VPCs, Cloud
Interconnect, Cloud DNS, and Azure VNets, ExpressRoute, and Private
DNS, ensuring secure and resilient connectivity. • Build and
maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible,
CloudFormation, and Deployment Manager, ensuring configuration
consistency, policy enforcement, and preventing drift. • Develop
and manage Cloud DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for network
provisioning, configuration management, and observability. •
Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks using
Python, Go, Bash, and PowerShell, integrating with AWS Lambda, GCP
Cloud Functions, and Azure Functions. • Collaborate with SRE, cloud
security, and platform teams to ensure alignment with zero trust,
compliance frameworks, and cloud-native security controls. • Solve
complex hybrid networking issues across LAN, WAN, cloud
interconnects, Internet, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN,
VXLAN). • Implement cloud load balancers, CDN integrations, DNS
failover, and traffic steering policies for high availability and
global resiliency. • Evaluate and deploy next-gen technologies,
including service mesh, cloud-managed firewalls, cloud-native
monitoring, and observability platforms. • Drive adoption of
standard processes for cost optimization, tagging strategies, and
governance across multi-cloud infrastructure. • Continuously assess
existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement
effective automation-driven solutions. • Standardize documentation,
runbooks, and design patterns for network and cloud operations. Who
You Are • What you’ll bring with you: o 10 years of experience
supporting high-performance production environments. o 3–5 years of
hands-on cloud networking experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure. o
Proven experience designing and operating secure hybrid multi-cloud
networks, including site-to-site VPNs, ExpressRoute, Direct
Connect, Cloud Interconnect, and Transit Gateway topologies. o
Strong programming and automation skills in Python, with experience
in network automation frameworks and cloud SDKs/APIs (boto3,
gcloud, azure-cli). o Deep expertise with infrastructure as code
and DevOps tooling (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins,
GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD). o Advanced knowledge of networking protocols
and technologies including Ethernet (10/40/100/400Gbps), OSPF, BGP,
EVPN/VXLAN, IPSec, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, LACP, IPv6, and TCP. o Hands-on
experience with enterprise networking platforms such as Cisco
Catalyst and Nexus, Dell Force10, Arista, F5 Big-IP, and Palo Alto
firewalls. o Expertise in cloud-native firewalls and security
groups, Web Application Firewalls (AWS WAF, Azure WAF, GCP Cloud
Armor), and DNSSEC/DoH. o Proficiency with cloud-native monitoring
and observability tools (CloudWatch, Cloud Logging, Azure Monitor,
Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). o Experience developing cloud
networking infrastructure including DNS, CDNs, load balancers,
VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, peering, and service mesh. o Strong
working knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO
27001, NIST, PCI DSS, CIS Benchmarks). o Demonstrated ability to
lead incident response, RCA, and performance tuning across
distributed systems. o Familiarity with FinOps practices for cloud
cost optimization and forecasting. o Strong communication and
documentation skills to collaborate across technical and business
teams. o Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect/Advanced
Networking, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Azure Network
Engineer Associate), along with Cisco/Palo Alto certifications. o
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as needed. • Why you
might stand out from other talent: o Hands-on experience building
multi-region and multi-cloud network architectures with automated
failover. o Demonstrated leadership in driving automation adoption
across traditional and cloud networking environments. o Experience
with service provider-scale environments or global SaaS
organizations. o Proven ability to integrate network operations
with DevSecOps pipelines and GitOps workflows. o Led
transformational initiatives improving operational efficiency via
self-service platforms, automation, and AIOps/ML-driven insights. o
Demonstrated knowledge of modern technologies, including AI/ML for
predictive monitoring, intent-based networking, and cloud-native
security analytics.
