Zipline, Maintenance Instructors do far more than traditional
aviation training. From collaborating with engineers and subject
matter experts to creating training content, to leading
instructor-led classes or coaching technicians one-on-one through
on-the-job (OJT) training—you'll play a vital role in keeping our
US operations and logistics system running. This is not just
another maintenance training role. Our team is building the world's

deliver essential goods at scale. Maintenance Instructors ensure
our technicians are ready to keep our system safe, reliable, and
compliant by delivering meaningful, timely training. Zipline is an
FAA-certified Air Carrier under CFR §135 operating under a
Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP). Our
instructors support training programs across the U.S. ensuring both
regulatory compliance and technician readines What You'll Do
Develop training content for a wide range of maintenance topics
using multiple media formats. Deliver engaging instruction in both
live classroom settings (in-person & virtual) and OJT environments.
Drive continuous improvement , including: Updating and enhancing
existing courses. Writing Maintenance Bulletins to quickly
communicate critical updates. Raising improvements or concerns
through internal systems. Coordinate training logistics , including
scheduling courses and communicating details to stakeholders.
Manage documentation & compliance , including required forms,
records, and LMS data entry. Mentor future OJT instructors ,
developing identified technicians into trainers. Collaborate
cross-functionally on key initiatives, such as: Assisting
technicians with FAA Repairman Certificate applications and
liaising with FAA representatives. Providing input to engineering
and technical writers on new or updated OEM procedures. What You'll
Bring FAA Mechanic Certificate with A&P ratings (or ability to
obtain a Zipline FAA Repairman Certificate - FAA A&P
equivalent). 1 years of technical instructor experience (aviation
maintenance training preferred). Experience creating training
content and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple
priorities. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with
the ability to adjust to your audience. Approachability,
creativity, and passion for teaching. Resilience, resourcefulness,
and adaptability in dynamic, evolving regulatory environments.

Else You Need to Know The starting cash range for this role is
$40-45 per hour. Please note that this is a target, starting cash
range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this
role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of
factors, including a specific candidate's experience,
qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The
total compensation package for this role may also include: equity
compensation; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales
incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance;
paid time off; and more. Maintenance Instructors at Zipline must be
willing to work some flexible hours. You will have an assigned
schedule, but due to the nature of on-site and virtual training
events in which students may hail from various time zones, some
flexibility for start and stop times are required at times. ~15%
