About the Position:
This role is an on-campus, in-person position.
The multimedia producer will create and develop digital course
materials such as still and motion graphics, professional quality
audio and video media, and basic animations. The role includes
producing high quality educational videos, marketing multimedia, as
well as other multimedia projects. Additionally, this position will
serve to build out Lyle's online education video production studio.
Will assist capturing video during Lyle live events for
live-streaming and on-demand.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred. A
degree in film/television, graphic design, journalism,
instructional design, or related field is preferred.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience is required. Experience
with educational technology or media production in
video/film/television including using modern editing is required.
Experience and fluency across production hardware and software
tools and the ability to shoot and produce video content in
multiple environments is also required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal
communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly
across the University and develop and maintain effective
relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also
demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the
ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise
solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time
management skills.
Candidate familiarity with working in studio settings is a
plus.
Candidate knowledge of video monitors, preview and input monitors,
production switchers, audio mixing boards, linear/nonli
near editors, storage (servers), waveform monitors, vector scopes,
camera control units, speakers, cameras and camera
pedestals, lighting rigs, tungsten lights and lighting control
boards and microphones is preferred.
Candidate familiarity with video software (Adobe Creative Suite,
Final Cut Pro, Premiere, AfterEffects, etc...) is a plus.
