Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Travel experience is preferred from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Neurological/Psychiatric, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Gastrointestinal, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks. Preferred Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Required Credentials: All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding. Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: Half of scheduled shifts. Other Requirements: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request.
