Lifeteam is seeking a qualified Air Evac Lifeteam (AEL) Helicopter Pilot to join our emergency medical service team. This role is crucial in our mission to deliver advanced medical care and rapid transport for critical patients. The AEL Helicopter Pilot will be responsible for operating aircrafts during various medical emergencies, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient patient transfers. Leveraging state-of-the-art aviation technology, the pilot will adhere to all federal aviation regulations and participate in ongoing training to handle the demanding and rewarding duties of medical air transport. Conduct pre-flight inspections and prepare aircraft for rapid medical response missions. Operate the helicopter in various conditions, ensuring all operations comply with FAA regulations. Collaborate with medical personnel to facilitate effective patient care during transit. Participate in continuous training sessions to stay updated on the latest aviation and emergency medical protocols. Handle flight logs and comply with all documentation requirements for medical transports. Proficiency in operating rotary-wing aircrafts under various conditions Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations Knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k FAA Commercial Pilot License, Helicopter Instrument Rating ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) Certificate (preferred) Current Class I Medical Certificate
