the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Telemetry RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701! Job Title:

required; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: EPIC experience required
Description: The unit consists of 36 private rooms. It serves a
patient population ranging from young adults to the geriatric
population. Priority admission is given to patients requiring
medical cardiac care and recovery from cardiac interventions.
Interventions include cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent
placement, and pacemaker implantation. The unit also admits
hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients. The
patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Floating to units of equal or lesser
acuity is required. Weekend shifts are required every other
weekend. Previous travel experience is required. The candidate must
demonstrate proficiency in telemetry practices. Skills required
include managing dysrhythmias and interpreting telemetry readings.
The unit collaborates with interdisciplinary support teams such as
physical therapy and respiratory services. Additional required
skills include management of central and peripheral lines, as well
as IV administration. Wound care and isolation precautions are
