Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding. If candidate resides in one of the restricted counties, they are not eligible for assignment. Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Respiratory, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Work Settings, MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Gastrointestinal, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Genitourinary/Renal, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Accessing/Managing Ports, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Non-invasive airway management. Required Credentials: ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. BLS - AHA, ARC, RQI, or American Safety and Health Institute.
