Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring travel and Epic charting experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the ICU department of a hospital - Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:30 to 07:00 - 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio - 10 ICU rooms in the unit - Epic EMR system used and experience with Epic is required - No travel pairs or groups are accepted for this position - Initial orientation includes onsite module completion with transcripts provided - No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved and none is allowed during the first week of orientation /n /n Requirements/n - Active TX or compact RN license required at the time of consideration - 2 years of ICU RN experience preferred - Previous travel nursing experience required - Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS - TNCC certification is preferred - Epic EMR experience is required - Candidates residing within 50 miles or in the counties of Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris are not eligible - Former perm staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-666796.
