Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certification for a day shift role in a busy academic medical center. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an interventional radiology unit with 5 procedure rooms - Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Weekend call required on average every 6th weekend - Weekday call required, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM, approximately 4 weekdays per month - Adult patient population - Academic medical center setting - May be assigned to an emergency or relief team during facility emergency events, with an expectation to remain onsite as needed - Must report as assigned by unit manager in emergencies - Time off (RTO) must be submitted in advance and discussed during interview - Academic team environment with teaching and learning opportunities /n /n Requirements/n - Current ARRT certification required - Current BLS certification required, AHA-approved - 2 years of experience in interventional radiology required - ACLS and ARRT VI certification preferred - Not accepting first-time travelers - Must live at least 65 miles from the facility - Must have a license if applicable /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-649679.
