Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on providing both facility-based and home-based patient care, aligning with our mission to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services across our extensive network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. As a Physical Therapist, you will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to restore or maintain patient well-being. You will be pivotal in helping patients achieve their maximum performance and adjust to residuals. This is an ideal position for someone passionate about healthcare innovation and patient recovery. Evaluate patient conditions based on their histories and goals, as well as testing and measurement data. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address patient needs. Teach patients exercises intended to improve or maintain strength and mobility. Use various therapy techniques to treat your patients, such as massage, stretching, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment. Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care. Counseling patients and their families on the treatment process and maintenance techniques in the healthcare continuum. Expertise in physical therapy methods and equipment Ability to assess patient condition and implement appropriate therapy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice CPR certified Optional but beneficial: Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
