Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Full-Time
Physical Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals in
delivering exceptional care in our inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. In this
role, you will have the unique opportunity to provide both
facility-based and home-based physical therapy services, focusing
on helping patients regain their independence through physical
rehabilitation. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you
will assess patient needs, develop individual rehabilitation
programs, and provide hands-on therapy. This role requires a
compassionate professional with a firm commitment to
patient-centered care and a tailored approach to treatment
planning. Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate
physical intervention plans. Implement treatment plans tailored to
the needs of individual patients. Monitor patient progress and
modify treatments as necessary. Collaborate with healthcare
professionals from other disciplines to coordinate treatment plans.
Educate patients and their families on treatments and physical
therapy strategies. Maintain patient records and documentation in
compliance with healthcare regulations. Proficiency in creating and
executing tailored rehabilitation programs. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both
independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Expertise in
utilizing therapeutic equipment and technology. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist
license in the state of practice. Additional certifications in
specialized areas of physical therapy (e.g., orthopedics,
geriatrics) are beneficial.
