Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) – Texas Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Longview, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Highlights: Support Cardiovascular Service Line with CVOR and Main OR coverage Utilize your expertise in circulating, scrubbing, and first assist roles Work with a collaborative perioperative team in a full-time, weekday-only schedule Expand your skills in cardiovascular procedures including EVH (Endoscopic Vein Harvesting) No weekend or on-call requirements Requirements: Current RN License in Texas or compact state Successful completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN standards and accepted by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) Minimum 5 years of OR experience in both scrubbing and circulating roles Previous CVOR and EVH experience required CNOR Perioperative Nursing Certificate BLS and ACLS Certification (AHA only) Must be comfortable functioning in all three roles: circulating, scrubbing, and first assist Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work exclusively in cardiovascular surgery with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, allowing for excellent work-life balance.
