Physician Position Overview: We are looking for a board-certified
or board-eligible physician to join our Colon and Rectal Surgery
faculty at a leading academic medical center in Nashville, TN. This
role focuses on delivering specialized surgical care for colorectal
conditions, mentoring surgical residents and fellows, and working
collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The position
provides robust leadership support, a commendable work/life
balance, and ample opportunities for professional growth in a
dynamic healthcare environment. Our organization is in search of a
skilled faculty physician to enhance the Colon and Rectal Surgery
team within the Department of Surgery located in Nashville,
Tennessee. Position Highlights: Our Colon and Rectal Surgery
program is the fastest expanding colorectal surgery practice in
Middle Tennessee, featuring a team of 7 seasoned surgeons and 4
advanced practice providers. The program operates at a Level 1
trauma center and a 1200-bed academic facility, which hosts 166
residency and fellowship programs, including general surgery and a
colon & rectal surgery fellowship. This position on the Clinician
Educator track offers a diverse array of colorectal surgery cases,
collaborating with specialists in gastroenterology, endoscopy, and
oncology at both the main center and satellite locations in the
Nashville area. You will hold a faculty appointment at the
assistant professor level, benefiting from excellent mentorship and
the chance to educate fellows, residents, and other learners. Enjoy
