Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Tyler, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,254 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701! Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedic, General, Neurological, Vascular, and Urology surgery. Experience with Epic charting system. Travel experience required. Description: The Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Candidates must have experience in Orthopedic, General, Neurological, Vascular, and Urology surgeries. Experience with Davinci Robots, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgeries is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. The shift will be five days a week for 8 hours each day. Call is required for 1-2 shifts every six weeks. The unit serves a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 45 patients with 14 operating rooms. Interdisciplinary support is available on the unit. Candidates should have skills in a variety of surgical procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, arthroscopy, and total joint replacement. Robotic surgical experience is a bonus. The ideal candidate will have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality patient care.
