Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tyler, Texas,
75701! Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession:
Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2
years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN
Advanced or Intermediate or Beginner, BLS, NR Must-Have: Travel
experience is required. Previous charge experience is preferred.
Experience with a patient ratio of 1:2 in labor, 1:3 in antepartum
and maternal newborn settings. Experience with the Epic charting
system is required. Description: Provide nursing care to patients
during labor and delivery. Assist with both high-risk and routine
deliveries. Perform assessments and evaluations to ensure the
health and safety of patients and newborns. Administer medications,
including pain management options. Conduct patient education on
care, both pre and post-delivery. Utilize advanced monitoring
techniques for fetal heart rate. Implement established protocols
for various procedural and therapeutic interventions. Collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Assess
and manage complications that arise during labor. Facilitate
breastfeeding support and education to new mothers. Prepare and
maintain a safe and sterile environment for deliveries. Engage in
