Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler
School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.
The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine and Division of
Infectious Diseases invites applications for two full-time
Infectious Diseases physicians. This is a unique opportunity to
contribute to the growth and development of our growing infectious
disease program, help shape the future of medical education and
clinical care at a new School of Medicine, and address the critical
healthcare needs of East Texas. We are seeking highly motivated and
collaborative individuals to join our growing team. These
specialist positions will serve the Tyler community and provide
both inpatient and outpatient consultative services at UT Health
Tyler (400 inpatient beds). Based on interest, candidates will also
have the opportunity to develop one or more programs in the
following areas: clinical operations, outpatient parenteral
antibiotic therapy, infection prevention and control, antibiotic
stewardship, HIV medicine, telehealth, medical education/training
of medical students, residents and fellows, NTM clinic and TB
public health. A faculty position at the rank of Assistant,
Associate, or Full Professor will be appointed to the successful
applicant commensurate with their professional experience and
qualifications. Minimum Qualifications: MD or DO degree Board
certified/eligible in Infectious Diseases (American Board of
