Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend required • Holiday coverage required • Patient ratio of 6:1 on a 24-bed telemetry unit • Care for patients with CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, chronic kidney disease, and medical/surgical telemetry conditions • Must have excellent communication and time management skills • Required to read telemetry strips (telemetry monitor techs assist with monitoring) • Work with CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen patients • Will float to all medical/surgical units as needed • PCTs available with 12:1 ratio • Charge nurse, house supervisors, and nurse educators available for support • Navy blue scrubs required • BLS certification required • BSN not required • Scheduling managed by unit manager, block scheduling not guaranteed • Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks • Complete department orientation for medical/surgical telemetry unit Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical center providing acute care services to the community.
