Adult Psychiatrist Location: Burke Mental Health Clinic – Nacogdoches, Lufkin, or Livingston, TX Position Number: P 1298 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Emergency services participation as needed) Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, licensure, and certification Position Overview Burke is seeking a compassionate and skilled Adult Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative clinical support to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. This position plays a key role in serving adults in our community and maintaining strong clinical documentation within our electronic health record system. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments Provide clinical consultation and support to treatment team members Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the EHR Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Qualifications Education Completion of an accredited medical program Licenses & Certifications Required: Texas Physician License Required: Valid Texas driver’s license. Applicants must have a driving record that is insurable by Burke’s insurance carrier. Preferred: Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry Physical Requirements Use visual and auditory skills to evaluate and monitor patients Bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. while assisting patients Complete SAMA (Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggressive Behavior) training Perform fine motor tasks such as handwriting, typing, and driving Why Join Burke?
