ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lufkin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/05/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work variable evening and night shifts with options including 9-9, 11-11, 1-1, 3-3 • Self-scheduling available for day and night shifts • Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement • No call or standby requirements • Patient ratio of 1:4 • 2 years of emergency department experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC • Float to units as qualified • Navy scrubs required • Must complete unit/department specific orientation • Work with 24 beds and 3 trauma bays serving 80-90 patients per day • Care for trauma patients, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac cases • Must be proficient in ECG rhythm interpretation • Experience with Allscripts - Paragon EMR system • Fast track area available with occasional triage duties • Manage ER holds intermixed within the department • Work alongside ED physicians, mid-levels, charge nurses, and house supervisors • Cannot be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with 24 beds and 3 trauma bays, serving 80-90 patients daily. The facility features modern medical technology with X-ray and CT services located adjacent to the emergency department, in-house security, and respiratory therapy support.
