Job Description Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities. UT Tyler School of Medicine - UT Health East Texas is hiring a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our elite team at the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center in Tyler, nestled in the picturesque Texas Pineywoods. As part of UT Health Tyler, one of 9 facilities within UT Health East Texas, you'll be at the forefront of emergency care in a facility that also serves as a Level II Primary Stroke Center and the hub for UT Health East Texas EMS and AIR 1. Key Highlights: • Team Composition: 15 Emergency Medicine Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers. • Facility Details: 36 ED beds, including three exam rooms, currently staffed at 24 (12 holding beds). • EMR: Epic • Schedule: Flexible 12-hour shifts, totaling 12 shifts per month. Qualifications: ABEM board certified/eligible. Both experienced and graduating Emergency Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply.
