Job Description The University of Texas at Tyler School of
Medicine is seeking a Faculty Interventional Psychiatrist to
pioneer advanced neuromodulation treatments in our psychiatry
department in Tyler, TX. ?This role offers a unique opportunity to
specialize in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Transcranial
Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and Ketamine treatments, with full
training provided if needed. The position is divided equally
between clinical interventions (50%) and teaching psychiatry
residents (50%), making it ideal for those passionate about both
patient care and medical education. Your Work: - Conduct pre- and
post-treatment psychiatric assessments to ensure effective patient
care. - Supervise and teach psychiatry residents, integrating them
into treatment plans and clinic operations. - Lead follow-up
clinics to monitor patient progress post-treatment. - Help bridge a
significant treatment gap, as this is the first position of its
kind within the department. - Participate in a shared call rotation
with future interventional psychiatry team members (faculty remain
