$1,930 per week About The Position Job Title: Medical Surgical
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical
Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and NIH preferred Must-Have: -
Med/surg experience - MS/Tele experience - Colostomy care skills -
Feeding tube management experience - Pre/post hemodialysis
management knowledge - Experience with renal failure - Ability to
access ports - Blood product administration skills - Central line
blood draw experience - Peripheral line management skills -
Phlebotomy experience - PICC line management skills - IV starting
capabilities - Heparin administration knowledge - PCA management
experience - Knowledge of spinal cord injuries - Experience with
traumatic brain injuries - Ortho trauma management experience -
Knowledge of total joint replacements - Surgical drains management
skills - High-flow nasal cannula use - Nasal cannula management -
Oral suctioning capabilities - Knowledge of oxygen face masks -
Portable oxygen tank management - Tracheostomy management skills -
Wound care experience Description: Start ASAP. Looking for a
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in Ortho. Ratios are
1 nurse to 6 patients. The unit has 36 beds. Float required to
units of equal or lesser acuity. Weekend shifts required are half
of scheduled shifts. Local travelers are not accepted. This
position requires skills in various medical procedures and patient
management techniques. Experience with specific conditions and
treatments is essential for success in this role. Candidates must
have the necessary skills to manage a diverse array of medical
