Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline:RN - Start Date:07/14/2025 - Duration:12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type:Travel Job Description – ICU RN Unit Information: - Unit Type:ICU - Beds:10 - Patient Ratio:1:2 - Scrub Color:Pewter Grey Requirements: - Experience:Minimum 2 years of ICU experience - Travel Experience:Required - Certifications Required:BLS, ACLS - Preferred Certifications:NIHSS, TNCC - EMR:Epic (proficiency required) - Float Requirement:Yes, to units of equal or lower acuity - Weekend Requirement:Every other weekend Required Skills: - Dysrhythmia interpretation and management - Management of multi-system organ failure - Pre/post cardiac intervention care - Pulmonary artery line management - IV insulin protocol management - Care for post-GI surgery and renal failure patients - Port access - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Central and PICC line management - IV initiation and sedation (including procedural sedation) - Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips - Stroke management - BiPAP/CPAP assistance - Chest tube management - Care of ventilated patients - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) support - Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) interpretation - Ventilator management and suctioning Local Candidate Restrictions: Applicants residing in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris.
