Job Description:
Responsible for providing pulmonary care to adult, pediatric,
and neonatal patients under physician supervision, including
assessments and respiratory therapy procedures.
Performs airway management, ventilator operation, aerosolized drug
delivery, blood gas analysis, EKG interpretation, and
documentation.
Responds to emergencies (Code Blue/White), manages airway devices,
and supports oxygen therapy.
Skills include pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy support,
hemodynamic monitoring, waveform analysis, and transport
duties.
May serve as Shift or Team Leader; advanced skills in therapeutic
gas management and sleep studies.
Requires RT/RCP license, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and 1-3
years of experience preferred.
Work schedule varies; position is per diem as needed.
