TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701 Pay Information $2,020 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - MS/Tele experience - Telemetry skills - Cardiac Telemetry expertise - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Telemetry remote monitoring - Feeding tube management - Hemodialysis management - Renal failure management - Port access skills - Blood product administration - Central line management - Peripheral line management - PICC line management - IV initiation skills - Heparin product knowledge - Cardiac drip management (no titration) - Experience with External CPAP/BiPAP - Nasal cannula proficiency - Oxygen face mask handling - Isolation precautions - Wound care/wound vac experience Job Description: - Work in a Med/Surg unit with a telemetry specialty. - Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 in a 36-bed unit. - Be prepared to float to units of equal or lesser acuity. - Handle weekend shifts as per the contract, approximately half of the weekends. - Utilize EPIC documentation system proficiently. - Participate in required modules during orientation, estimated at 4-6 hours. - Follow COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements as per guidelines. - Ensure compliance with all necessary health regulations and protocols. - Provide excellent patient care and maintain a high level of professionalism.
