Job Description:

Seeking a BE/BC general neurologist to join our team in Beautiful East Texas. Details:

• As a faculty position, opportunities for research and teaching are available
• Currently 5 Neurologist (3 Neurohospitalist, 1 general, 1 movement disorder specialist.) We are hoping to add 1 more general and one additional movement disorder.
• 95% outpatient, 5% inpatient
• Monday-Friday (8:00-5:00)
• High patient volume due to expanding practice
• Patients: 18+ years old, 12-18 new and follow up mix per day
• Call: Shared night call coverage with outpatient and inpatient physicians. One weekend call every other month inpatient.
• Neurology Residency starting in 2024
• Opportunity to teach and work with residents
• Ideal candidate: EEG and EMG/NCU skills preferred
