Locums - Tyler, Texas, Gastroenterology Job

• Clinical Role:

  • Type of Coverage: Call only
  • Dates needed: 7a-7a Thursday to Thursday for May, June, July, Aug., & Sept. two weeks each month
  • Dates of Coverage Needed ongoing: 2 weeks/month
  • Advanced procedures required: ERCP
  • Setting: Inpatient / ER
  • 74 ICU beds
  • Procedures:
  • Upper GI endoscopy
  • With biopsy
  • With foreign body removal
  • With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
  • With injection of varices
  • ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) Preferred but not required on IP's
  • Diagnostic (Preferred but not required on IP's)
  • therapeutic (Preferred but not required on IP's)
  • With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
  • Esophageal dilatation/manometry Dilation
  • Small Bowel biopsy
  • Lower GI endoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy
  • Flexible
  • Rigid
  • Colonoscopy
  • With biopsy
  • With excision of polyp
  • Liver biopsy (Preferred but not required on IP's)
  • Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
  • Board Certified - required
  • Active TX license - required
