DUTIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * Consistently demonstrates competence, compliance and accurate documentation during care delivery in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and Hospital & Departmental Policies and Procedures. * Routinely cares for patients' and families' needs and/or performs department specific activities with excellent organizational skill, efficiency and appropriate fiscal accountability. * Provides excellent customer service, teamwork and communication using the SBAR communication principals during all interactions of job role. * Continuously synthesizes and evaluates assessment data to gain a comprehensive clinical picture and effectively uses supervisory skills and nursing process to independently and collaboratively anticipate, intervene and deliver excellent patient care. * Actively contributes to clean, safe, positive and professional work and patient care environment. * Actively participates in professional development, professional organizations, unit counsels, quality improvement initiatives promoting personal and institutional growth and improvements.
