Position SummaryTriumph is seeking a forward-thinking and analytically driven leader to serve as the VP, Business Strategy & Competitive Insights. This role is critical in shaping Triumph's competitive posture and go-to-market strategy through rigorous market analysis, financial benchmarking, and strategic insight development. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, sales, product, and operational teams, identifying strategic opportunities and threats, optimizing product positioning, and driving informed decision-making across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesThe VP, Business Strategy & Competitive Insights will be responsible for generating and disseminating actionable intelligence on market dynamics, competitor strategies, pricing trends, and financial benchmarks to support strategic planning and revenue growth.Strategic Analysis & Market Intelligence

  • Lead the development of competitive intelligence frameworks to track and assess key competitors' product offerings, pricing models, financial performance, customer segments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Deliver high-impact, executive-ready insights to inform business development, pricing strategy, M&A, and long-term growth plans.
  • Monitor and interpret macroeconomic trends, market shifts, and regulatory changes that impact Triumph's business strategy.Business & Financial Insight
    • Conduct financial and operational benchmarking of competitors to identify gaps, cost efficiencies, and potential areas for differentiation.
    • Work closely with finance, product, and operations to quantify the potential impact of competitive threats or opportunities.
    • Recommend strategic enhancements to product offerings, pricing structures, or operational approaches based on market intelligence and customer feedback.Cross-Functional Partnership
      • Collaborate with product, finance, implementation, sales, and relationship management teams to embed competitive intelligence into business planning and client engagement strategies.
      • Provide strategic recommendations for market entry, expansion, or repositioning efforts.
      • Create business cases and ROI models to support investment in new capabilities, product innovation, or market pivots.Enablement & Communication
        • Develop clear, concise, and persuasive deliverables (e.g., dashboards, memos, playbooks, strategic briefs) to communicate findings across executive and field teams.
        • Facilitate training and strategic planning sessions to empower cross-functional teams with relevant market insights.Experience & Education
          • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
          • 3+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, investment banking, or competitive intelligence in a B2B environment.Skills & Competencies
            • Exceptional strategic thinking and business acumen, with a strong understanding of financial modeling and industry economics.
            • Deep analytical capability with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
            • Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization through data-backed storytelling.
            • Proven track record of driving strategic insights that have shaped business outcomes.
            • Experience navigating cross-functional environments and aligning diverse teams around strategic priorities.#LI - RM1
