POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a skilled Marketing Director to
become a part of our facility's compassionate care-giving team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for building referral
source relationships in a variety of settings, such as hospitals,
clinics, and senior-service related organizations within the
community. Manage and create strategic initiatives to maximize
admissions and build, grow, and maintain an acceptable facility
census level. The candidate will interact with the community,
implement the facility's marketing plan, travel, speak before
groups, obtain resident information, communicate with
families/responsible parties, and work with referral agencies. We
are particularly looking for someone with a proven history of
implementing and evaluating successful marketing strategies and
building referral source relationships.We're looking for a highly

interaction. The Marketing Director is responsible for making sure
those values are reflected in his or her staff at all
times.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.Must have established and fully
developed relationships with area healthcare market.Prior
demonstrated, successful experience in marketing a skilled nursing
facility or facilities to local referral sources.Ability to
prioritize and handle multiple priorities and referrals
daily.Ensure timely response to all admission inquiries.Ability to
meet marketing goals for census improvement/maintenance.Work with
physicians and hospital discharge planners to arrange a smooth
transition to the facility.Collaborate, build and maintain
relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge
planners, and other referral sources to generate a positive
facility image and encourage referral activities.Recruit and
credential new physicians to the facility.Meet with members of
community organizations.Develop long-range and short-range
marketing plans, establishing goals and objectives consistent with
the overall goals and annual budget of the facility.Develop and
implement promotional activities that highlight the facility's
ability to provide quality care and services.Track relevant
marketing data such as inquiries by number, quality and source,
conversion ratios, admission patterns, census and mix, and
discharges and prepare reports as required by the
Administrator.Lecture before groups relative to health and
long-term care services.Act as a liaison with physician offices,
discharge planners and other referral sources.Conduct tours of the
facility and grounds for potential residents, families, community
and representatives from placement agencies and referral
sources.Follow up on inquiries and maintain current and active
waiting lists.Maintain an accurate record of available
beds.Interview family members/responsible parties and obtain
required information, documentation and signatures.Explain to
family members/guardians the facility room rates, billing
procedures, restrictions, resident care procedures, visitor
policies, etc. as appropriate.Maintain a current listing of all
residents, their level of care, assigned room numbers. Provide
copies to nursing, administration, social services, government
agencies, etc., as necessary.Develop and maintain a good working
rapport with other departments within the facility, specifically
social services and nursing.Researches, analyze, and monitor local
competition.Advises appropriate referrals to minimize social and
economic obstacles to discharge.Makes sales calls to medical,
insurance, legal, and financial professionals, senior
organizations, appropriate special interest groups and other
community contacts.Meets with family and residents on day of
admission and ensures appropriate preparation of room and
introduction to nursing staff on unit.Maintains a working knowledge
of federal and state regulations, private insurer reimbursements
and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements.Works with Administrator to
ensure customer satisfaction and to assess/respond to customer
satisfaction surveysResponsible for outside marketing, events, and
social media management.Promotes clinical care that meets
professional standards of practice.Provides visionary leadership.
Uses leadership principles to anticipate and influence change.
Determines resources and actions needed to accomplish objectives.
Set priorities and manage time effectively. Identify potential
problems/opportunities and plan contingent action. Develop new and
unique ideas to improve existing systems or operations. Encourage

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must

or relevant qualification.Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's
Degree from an accredited college or university, and three (3)
years of experience in a healthcare business development role
and/or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.Bachelor's Degree in Social Work preferred.Previous
experience working in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or
relative setting, preferably in admissions and/or
marketing.Existing business relationships in the local area
preferred.Possession of a current valid Texas driver's license or
regular means of transportation to and from work.Experience with
electronic medical records preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIESMust be capable of operating a personal computer to enter
resident data as required by regulation and facility policy.Highly
motivated and creative individual with an ability to work
independently.Must be able to read, write, and speak
