Job Description:
Transportation Engineer A well-established, locally owned
engineering firm in Louisiana is seeking a talented,
detail-oriented Transportation Engineer with 5–10 years of
experience to join its transportation department. This is an
excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional
to join a team of dedicated engineers focused on delivering
innovative infrastructure solutions across the state. This position
offers significant potential for career growth and advancement
within a supportive, collaborative environment. What You’ll Be
Doing Design transportation improvements including alignments,
drainage, signage, and construction phasing. Apply knowledge of
Federal, State, and Local codes while collaborating on
multi-project teams. Prepare reports, construction plans, permits,
quantity take-offs, and cost estimates. Participate in public
meetings, client presentations, bidding, and construction phase
tasks. Support project closeout and maintain consistent
communication with clients and stakeholders. What You’ll Need To
Have B.S. in Civil Engineering and PE license (or ability to obtain
in Louisiana). 5–10 years of transportation design experience using
AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation. Familiar with stormwater and
drainage software (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, PondPack, etc.). Strong
communication, accountability, and ability to represent
Evans-Graves professionally. Willingness to travel locally and
manage multiple projects in a collaborative team setting. Benefits
