Job Summary Universal Cable Holdings, Inc. seeks a Sr. Project
Manager – Data and Analytics to create, update, and optimize
project schedules. Responsibilities Conduct sprint planning and
assign story points to determine capacity necessary to deliver data
pipelines. Lead security architecture reviews to ensure teams
adhere to technical standards. Support business analysis, data
quality spot checks, code review, and triage for problem solving.
Ensure all tasks are scheduled and blockers are identified and
escalated. Facilitate review sessions and status sessions with
developers and ensure all stakeholders are aware of project status.
Conduct project cost accounting, including creating detailed cost
estimates, challenging developers and QA staff on optimizing costs,
and ensuring that all project costs are captured in accounting
systems. Liaise with business planning teams to track project
budget and forecast according to corporate standards. LI-DNI
Qualifications Position requires a Master’s degree in Data
Analytics, Information Management, or a related field, and 1 year
of experience with data project management. Experience must include
a minimum of: 1 year of experience with database design, including
normalization and denormalization techniques; 1 year of experience
with data visualization tools; 1 year of experience with project
sprint planning, backlog management, and JIRA and Kanban boards;
and 1 year of experience reviewing IT process and quality control
protocols. Part-time telecommuting permitted. Up to 5-10% domestic
