Location: Dallas, TX or Miramar, FL - Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Compensation: $80-$85/hr

Principal QA Automation Engineer
The Quality Assurance Analyst job is responsible for the overall
quality of systems and technology that are released into ETP's
production environment. The scope of this role includes the
comprehensive aspects of quality including testing documentation,
planning and execution of testing, testing validation, and
obtaining approval using both manual processes and automated tools
that are available in our client's environment.
In their role, Quality Assurance is responsible for ensuring the
product meets business requirements and overall business objectives
by tracking and reporting quality assurance metrics such as
defects, defect counts, test results and test status, as well as
documenting problems and communicating the issue to development
staff to assist in their resolution.
Responsibilities: Providing coaching and development to Quality
Assurance Analysts
Leading and directing offshore testing programs
Maintain a working knowledge of Quality Assurance leading practices
and serve as a thought leader to the our client's organization
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement
opportunities for our client's quality assurance programs
Facilitate Quality Assurance training and education programs for
the our client's team
Recommend opportunities to lower testing costs or improve quality
through alternative staffing models (e.g., gig, offshore, 3rd
party)
Provide coaching and development to Senior Quality Assurance
Analysts
Review 3rd party testing programs to ensure quality and compliance
standards with our client's practices
Overseeing the work of 3rd party Quality Assurance teams
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement
opportunities for our client's quality assurance programs
Lead QA projects and teams, become an expert in our client's
technology stack, business processes and data exchanges to help
ensure proper test coverage and data integrity across all
integration points
Understand various programming languages (ABAP, Java, C#, Perl,
Python, etc.) and deployment tools such as Turnover, QGM/Solution
Manager, as well as devOps and CI/CD practices
Develop test strategies and approaches, test plans (including test
conditions and expected results), test cases, and test scripts,
both manual and automated
Identify test data requirements and work with other teams as needed
to create and maintain test data
Execute tests, both manual and automated, including documentation
of test results and defects, assist in defect troubleshooting and
resolution
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of software testing
tools
Create, run, and maintain reports to measure and track testing
metrics
Participate in test automation, including framework design, script
development and maintenance
Stay up-to-date on software application testing tools and QA best
practices
Deliver quality and testing process training to IT staff and
project teams
Perform quality and testing audits across the various IT functions
to ensure quality and testing standards, procedures and
methodologies are being followed properly and consistently
Coach others, mentor peers to help them build capabilities
Improve the efficiency of QA team, mitigate team conflicts and
communication problems
Motivate team members to work collaboratively and effectively
Plan and document succession planning within scope of
responsibility
Report HP ALM QA metrics and testing status to project and
application team members
Support integration testing cycles through performing test scripts,
coaching SAP super users and possible defect resolution
Skillset / Experience: Bachelor's Degree (computer science,
information systems, business administration or other industry
related curriculum) or combination of education and equivalent
experience
Four (4)+ years serving in a Quality Assurance role
Can think strategically

Experience executing a testing with large-scale platforms (SAP,
JDA, etc.)
Experience executing the regression and performance testing for
packaged releases on a defined scheduled timeline coordinating the
scheduling and resources
Experience with automated testing tools
Experience coordinating and scheduling testing teams
Experience working with testing teams that are located offshore
Experience mentoring and developing QA people
Experience evaluating and improving QA practices and processes
Experience interacting and leading Business team members during a
testing program
Experience working with, and directing, third-party Quality
Assurance teams
SAFe Agile certified
Experience coordinating and scheduling testing teams
Experience working with testing teams that are located offshore
Experience mentoring and developing QA people
Experience evaluating and improving QA practices and processes
Experience interacting and leading Business team members during a
testing program
Experience working with, and directing, third-party Quality
Assurance teams
Experience working in Agile environment (SAFe preferred), using
