license and 1 years School Counselor experience required.

considered. A school counselor position is available for a contract
assignment in Cleveland, TX, from March 2, 2026, through June 5,
2026. This role involves providing support and guidance to students
during a temporary maternity leave coverage period. The position is
onsite with a 35-hour workweek, offering an excellent opportunity
to contribute positively to student development within a dynamic
educational environment. Key responsibilities include: - Assisting
students with academic planning, personal development, and social
skills - Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to address
student needs - Supporting students in resolving conflicts and
managing emotional or social challenges - Facilitating group
sessions and individual counseling as needed - Maintaining accurate
records and compliance with school policies Desired qualifications:
- Proven experience as a school counselor or in a related
counseling role - Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload
and work with students from varied backgrounds - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational
skills and attention to detail - Relevant credentials and
certifications to practice counseling in the school setting This is
an onsite role requiring commitment over the course of the
contract. Supporting students through a transitional period, you
will play a pivotal role in maintaining continuity and care.
