Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for an Early Childhood
Special Education Teacher specializing in itinerant services for
young learners aged 3 to 4 years. This full-time contract role
involves traveling among 3 to 4 school sites, including homes,
daycares, and Head Start centers, to deliver specialized
instruction tailored to developmental and educational needs.
Located onsite in Benton, Louisiana, this position operates within
an elementary school setting. The teacher will be responsible for
implementing developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with state
and local curricula, ensuring full compliance with Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) by leading meetings and rigorously
monitoring student progress. The role emphasizes creating engaging,
mobile learning environments by effectively using technology to
enhance student participation and academic growth. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction to preschool
students across multiple sites Lead IEP meetings and ensure
adherence to special education requirements and timelines Monitor
and document student progress with accuracy and timeliness in
electronic records Collaborate with parents, educators, and
community partners to foster student success Organize and manage
itinerant teaching materials and technology-based resources
Qualifications and Experience: Valid Early Childhood Special
Education Teaching Certification Experience working with young
children in special education settings Strong ability to travel
between multiple educational sites daily Knowledge of
developmentally appropriate instructional strategies Excellent
communication and organizational skills Location:Benton, LA (onsite
