Job Description Job Description Master’s degree in Special
Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field,
active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1 years Educational
Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a skilled Educational Diagnostician to provide essential
assessment and evaluation services within a K-12 school setting in
the Dallas, TX area. This is a contract position covering a
maternity leave from late February through May 22, 2026. The role
is itinerant, serving multiple schools and supporting students
across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and
interpret standardized assessments to identify students cognitive,
academic, and behavioral needs - Analyze evaluation data to
determine eligibility for special education services in accordance
with IDEA regulations - Participate in Admission, Review, and
Dismissal (ARD) meetings to assist in developing Individualized
Education Program (IEP) goals and services - Collaborate with
teachers and parents to monitor student progress and recommend
appropriate behavioral interventions and instructional
accommodations - Suggest research-based interventions tailored to
address diagnosed learning gaps and support student achievement
Desired Qualifications and Experience: - Experience in educational
diagnostics within K-12 settings - Strong understanding of special
education laws and IDEA eligibility criteria - Ability to interpret
formal test results accurately and communicate findings clearly -
Effective collaboration skills with educators, parents, and
multidisciplinary teams - Commitment to data-driven decision making
and individualized student support Location: Dallas, TX (Itinerant
