Basic Job Functions: The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Administrator is to accurately process all incoming invoices and payments in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include interacting with the public in a professional and courteous manner and answering and directing incoming telephone calls. This includes but is not limited to weekly accounts payables, various weekly, monthly, and quarterly vendor reports, bank reports/reconciliations and Finance/Corporate reports. This person will also be responsible for backing up other Finance positions. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
