Over the past 25 years, our care network has grown to include a 48-bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and nine Olympic fitness centers. We also offer cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation - with our Tyler clinic boasting the first Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation program in East Texas. Ardent Health Services operates UT Health East Texas in a joint venture partnership with UT Health System. POSITION SUMMARYWe have an exciting opportunity to join UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center as a Financial Manager. Responsibilities*Closely works with Chief Financial Officer and others in the Division financial management team to maximize the Division financial performance. Work with CFO and CEO's of multiple organizations in carrying out the missions of the organization in a prudent, cost effective manner. Interact with department managers and other leaders in the organization with regards to financial matters to include productivity, budget, reviews, performance improvement, and other areas as required.*Work with CFO and accounting on the month end financial close; perform analysis, prepare supporting schedules as needed, work with support staff/ department heads on monthly requirements, and other duties as needed.*Work with the CFO and revenue cycle - admitting, operational departments, billing and collections, medical records, and in some cases, outside billing companies, to maximize efficiencies and collections. General understanding of billing and the unique issues that apply to specialty providers.*Work with CFO and facility leaders on the annual budget; review volumes, staffing and productivity, expenses. Assist in developing goals. Ongoing review during the year of budget vs actual; assist CFO and department managers in developing corrective action plans when necessary.*Work with CFO and reimbursement team on annual cost report preparation.*Develop an understanding of the unique nature of specialty providers including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, long-term care hospitals, emergency medical services, both ground and air.QualificationsJob Requirements: Experience and Skills:*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related major*7 + years of professional experience. Must be self-motivated. Must demonstrate exceptional analytical, quantitative, financial modeling, and spreadsheet development skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have excellent communication skills both, verbal and written. Must have demonstrated management ability.*MBA preferred*Work requires little or nophysical effort. lifting or performing other work requiring light physical exertion (up to 30 pounds) is intermittent (not a routine part of the job) and secondary to the job.
